08-03-2026After doing some research on various air purifier, I ended up buying this for my house and I’m glad I did. I wanted something that could handle a large area. The assembly and installation was very straight forward. The best feature I have noticed is the Air Doctor detects when there are more toxins in the air especially the smoke from cooking and it will automatically adjust the power level to keep the air clean and displays the air quality through a LED on the front. It’s quiet, the noise level is low when it’s running, which was important to me. I’m happy with my purchase.

08-03-2026I've never written a review before but because I'm so happy with this purchase and there aren't many reviews yet, I decided to write one. Things I LOVE about my new AirDoctor 5000:Bacteria & Viruses are between 0.02 - 0.2 microns in size, pollen is 10-20 microns, mold is 10 microns, dust is 5 microns, and smoke is 0.1-1 micron. The AirDoctor removes particles/PM 2.5 down to 0.003 microns, which is SO MUCH SMALLER than any of these contaminants! This is my favorite feature of all and the main reason why I got an AirDoctor for our family.My son has allergies. We've had two standard HEPA filters turned on at home for several years. The first day we got our AirDoctor 5000 he said it was a noticeable difference, and that it is really helping him a lot! The other reason I got this brand is that it was highly recommended by 3 people with allergies who keep telling me about how great it is. I have an open concept living/dining room and kitchen so I thought I'd get this larger one.It's QUIET! For the first several days I kept checking to make sure that it was on because I couldn't hear it.With the wheel design, it moves easily on both hard floors and carpet.Bottom line: I love this and am so happy to have it before wildfire season!
